In the heart of Levallois-Perret, just beyond the périphérique, a 120-square-metre Haussmann apartment was stripped back to its bones. The brief was clear: honour the Parisian envelope — mouldings, herringbone oak, ceiling height — while injecting a raw materiality that speaks to a new generation of living. Every surface was reconsidered, every joint rethought.
Custom furniture became the connective tissue of the project. A monolithic kitchen island in brushed concrete anchors the open living space, while bespoke walnut joinery runs the length of the hallway, concealing storage behind flush, handleless panels. The dining table — hand-finished steel legs supporting a slab of reclaimed elm — was designed and fabricated in collaboration with a metalworker in Montreuil.
The result is a dialogue between Parisian elegance and raw craft: plaster meets pigmented concrete, brass hardware meets blackened steel, and natural light — always the final material — washes through restored double-height windows from morning to dusk.
